This is a very old version, which last got feature updates about three
years ago. It obviously misdetects your webcam's stream:

You *might* be able to get it to work by adding "-f mpjpeg" before
"-i". But actually, the proper recommendation is to use an up-to-date
version of ffmpeg. You can e.g. grab a binary here:

No, if a library is missing, a binary will usually refuse to launch at
all.
