Gentoo Forums, which by the way Bruce Scneier regards as the most
hopeful in battling surveillance, but, sure, it'n not a binary distro,
but a distro of the most advanced portage architecture, it's not an easy
distro to use well...
The aforesaid Gentoo Forums have, in one of the two links that I gave
to Gentoo Forums in my main, corrected article on Debian Forums (see
previous thread), buried this link which illustrates the battle against
impostors (see previous thread who I mean), the battle that we are, in
part, losing because of GNU/Linux being windozed (see previous thread
what I mean), this link:
libav vs ffmpeg
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-870175.html
I thought a more determined FFmpeg user, and there are many amongst the
readers of this list, may find is revealing.
