[FFmpeg-user] Removing an overlay

Hi guys,

I was curious if any of you guys can tell me how to do this:

I have videos where I've already added an overlay( a transparent png), 
over the years, the overlay command has been adjusted a bit, so that the 
"watermark" would appear correctly, but the image has remained the same.

Is there any way I can pull the overlay off?

I'm no ffmpeg expert, so please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
