[FFmpeg-user] MPEG TO AVI (reposted after joining mailing list)

I am trying out FFMPEG on many recommendations. I am working with recovered deleted videos that are now Protected MPEG-4 Movie. I don't think they were protected before they were deleated. They are from my point and shot camera. The are now jerky and blurry.

I converted them to AVI with FFMPEG. They are still jerky and blurry. Any suggestions?
