I've made my point. The people have spoken. Some multiple times.
The point is you are the only one against the change, the consensus all seems to be in favor of Soft's proposal.
And instead of trying to attack his approach on the method, you attack the people behind it (calling them newbies and
unexperienced).

We need to focus our efforts on development. Bug fixes, new codecs, etc... are what is truly important. While we're arguing, Gstreamer is developing. So lets stop with the arguments and get back to what we know to do best: make one of the best multimedia frameworks in the world. If we can bring new people in by adding this, thats great.  It will only help FFMpeg in the long term. People that find the ML culture hard just won't contribute to ffmpeg, they'll contribute to something else like dav1d or vlc or even mpv which are similar overlaps with ffmpeg and are all on gitlab/hub/graphical platforms.
