I am also very sad to hear that you have made this decision. I hope that you will reconsider. In a project as large as ffmpeg as with a lot of things in life there can be heated conflict but I am sure this can be resolved amicably. You and your contributions will be missed along with your very helpful and jovial presence in irc.
