That would be a DMCA request. Which IMHO does not apply here, Apple is
selling this, directly profiting from the sale, and thus is not protected
by the DMCA.
I expect that if they do not act upon your information, whether you are
the copyright-holder or not, that would increase their legal liability.
I would normally be in favour of contacting the original author first, but
they aren't any easier to contact, so why make it our problem.

I'd appreciate it if you could try to get into contact with them,
I think none of us own an iPhone so it might be a bit of a pain since
we wouldn't be able to answer any questions, though I do not have any
experience in handling that kind of thing either...
