So is it possible for ffmpeg  to use MainConcept mpeg container with H264 in it?

I found a way to use it but it a 'little' cumbersome:

vlc mpegps to rawout
mencoder rawout to avi (all codecs intact)
ffmpeg avi to 3gp
 :))
