Just wanted to make another comment on this.....

I just don't see why the watermark module doesn't look at the final  
height and width, which includes the padding. It just doesn't make  
sense to me that it doesn't, or at least at option for it to  
recognize it.

Right now I'm going through heck trying to figure out how to make  
imlib2 work, and watermark worked great besides the sizing issue.

If watermark doesn't require anything extra and imlib2 has options to  
move an image around, why not have something simple where you can  
just put an image on the screen with x and y coordinates and have it  
static.
