I would also include:
 * a simple MP3 encoder (thus compiled without LAME it should be still
   able to encode into several containers, such as FLV)
 * a better CODEC_ID system, multiple codecs should provide the same
   CODEC type (mp3lame vs builtin, liba52 vs builtin, theora vs builtin)
   and still be able to select which to use
 * a simple Theora encoder (I gave a shot to this, but.. :)
