but thats not what you did, you correlated their work(or lack thereof)
to their nationality, which is what i disagree about,

How do "outside observers" have any stake in this? ffmpeg participates
and gets code contributions. if the mentors aren't happy with this
year's outcome, they should feel free to mix things up in a way they
think would improve the overall quality of the codebase/feature set.
