I'll never accept the integration of libdvdcss in the dvdnav repository,
but libdvdread can be built with dvdcss compiled in statically if you
pass to the build system the proper macro (I don't remember the name,
seee the sources).
As for mplayer, it needs proper additions to the build system (no code)
to use the dvdcss in main/ .
For the time being it's better to use an external dvdcss and configure
mplayer with --without-dvdread-internal
