Such is the nature of open source. I created that fork because I
noticed patches that were going years without being implemented.
Granted, some of these will not merit being commited to master, but an
experimental / topic branch would be acceptable. GitHub page is simply
a platform for me to post my builds / patches, and for others to fork
my repo with their own patches.

For the time being I would suggest continue to post patches to this
list at least for the next 6 months, and concurrently on GitHub if you
desire.
