[rtmpdump] Puzzled !

http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/rtmpdump.1.html says:
*--flv -o* /output/
    Specify the output file name. If the name is - or is omitted, the
    stream is written to stdout.

Based on the above if  '-o filename ' is specified, no stream is written 
to stdout

How can I have both at the same time???

Expecting the next round of flaming ...
