[MPlayer-users] mplayer vs mpv

I don't know about playlist parameter, but I had also a problem two years
ago with mplayer that I was able to solve with mpv very easily.

mpv development is currently very active meanwhile mplayer's not so much.

it happens with a lot of big opensource projects, they have golden days and
then they languish until they don't receive any more updates.
