[MPlayer-users] video scaling doesn't work

I've been playing with those but I always end up with distorted and
mis-shapen output:

mplayer -vf scale=1360x768 -fs file.mp4

I've tried with and without -zoom.  I'm finding specific info on this
very difficult to locate in the man page.
