[MPlayer-users] Controlling/restart several instances of mplayer

Hello,

I´m running serveral streaming-instances of mplayer. Is there a way to check out the PID of each instance or save the PID during the start in a variable to check if it´s still running?
My goal is to restart a instance automatically if the stream hung up.
Any idea is appreciated.
