Hi all,

According to the changelog of 1.0rc1 it's using nortc as default:
"-nortc is now default since -rtc has disadvantages with recent kernels"

And according to the documentation, there are three timing methods in
MPlayer: usleep, rtc and softsleep.

As rtc is not used, which timing method is now used be default in
Mplayer? And what were the disadvantages with rtc?
