Yes, the problem is that you cannot scale an interlaced movie, which
your DVDs happen to be. Set your video mode to 640x480 to avoid having
to rescale. Note that unless you're sending the picture to tv-out,
you'll also need to deinterlace (-vf pp={md|fd|ci|li|lb|l5}, pick one)
or it will look bad on your monitor.
