Hi,

I still dream of getting my mplayer working :(
When I start with -vo x11, I do get sound, but I get a black screen.
I get the following message:
	X11 running at 1024x768 depth: 16
Someone suggested that there may be a bug for the depth value of 16.
Can you tell me how to set the colour depth (to 24)?

I have:
Kernel 2.2.16-22
XFree86-4.0.1-1
Intel i810 chipset

Please find attached the full list of mplayer messages and also my
XF86Config file.

MPlayer works like a dream, with this one exception: I can't get it to
play a DivX ;-) encoded file to the x11 output driver. When I try, it
pops open a new window, but then it closes quickly. However, if I run
it with the dga or null driver, it works fine. Here is what it says on the
command line when I run it with x11:
...
 I'm running:
 Kernel 2.2.15
 XF86_SVGA 3.X
 BlackBox 0.61.1
