now that I read the source I realize  that the only possible argument to 
dvbaspect is the
scaled x, so dvbscale=768 or dvbscale=x where x = 768 | 384 | 480, maybe 
1024 if the source
has 16/9 and y=576. Can you try these values, possibily with -v and -v -v ?
