Hi!

After installing a Toslink-adapter in my Siemens-V1.3-DVB card my audio
problems (ac3 pass throu) are gone. But there is still one display problem:

The picture on my 16:9 tv-screen is a little bit shifted to the left (1/6 of
the screen width). My testfile is a 640x360-divx-movie (ratio 16:9)

# tcprobe -i /video/avi/movie-sync.avi
[tcprobe] RIFF data, AVI video
[avilib] V: 25.000 fps, codec=DIVX, frames=186349, width=640, height=360
[avilib] A: 48000 Hz, format=0x2000, bits=16, channels=2, bitrate=448 kbps,
[avilib]    186349 chunks, 417419520 bytes
[tcprobe] summary for /video/avi/movie-sync.avi, (*) = not default, 0 = not
detected
import frame size: -g 640x360 [720x576] (*)
       frame rate: -f 25.000 [25.000] frc=3
      audio track: -a 0 [0] -e 48000,16,2 [48000,16,2] -n 0x2000 [0x2000]
                   bitrate=448 kbps
           length: 186349 frames, frame_time=40 msec

I use the tv in 4:3-mode and hit 16:9-zooming by remote control.

My mplayer command uses the folllowing parameter:

-cache 8192
-vo mpegpes
-ao mpegpes
-vop lavc,expand=-1:576:-1:-1:1,scale=-1:0,dvbscale

question: how to adjust the tv-output a little bit to the right.
Playing a little bit with the dvbscale parameter had no success.
BTW: vdr has no such problem.

Bye

  Thorsten
