hmm
and it does the sacling right!

480x384 with sqaure pixels is 5:4, not 4:3 as your TV

you can do 2 things to workaround:
1. set TV aspect ratio to 5:4 by using dvbscale=720, to get 614->576 scaled
2. use crop instead of / with expand, to crop 614 down to 576

you'll see which one looks better (correct aspect ratio)

btw, do you have 2.1 card?
with my 1.3, any width fills the TV screen well
