Hi!

Acording to http://www.dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html#1.32

DTS Sound should be absolutly easy to playback

"since the DTS data is encapsulated into standard PCM tracks that are
passed untouched to the digital audio output."

This is the same way AC3 Digital Out is done!

It should be a Private Stream 1

sub-stream 0x80 to 0x87 are audio (AC3, DTS, SDDS)

What else would be needed to implement DTS? Is Information
about the internal structure of the DTS Data Stream needed?

Another funny idea about A/V Sync.

My Surround Reciever provides Line out for every Channel
But nearly all Surround Recievers provide a Line Out
for the Subwoofer.( In order to connect an Active one)

This line Out could be connected to the line In of the
Soundcard.

one could use that as a feedback to measure the Delay between
Audio and Video?

Greetings!
          Rolf
