	odtwarzacze multimedialne, jak

	<a href="http://gstreamer.net/">gstreamer</a>

	Rada Europy przyje³a tak zwan± "Wspóln± propozycjê" odno¶nie patentowania
	oprogramowania,

	zasad i procedur</a>
	dla wy³±cznej korzy¶ci wielkich wielonarodowych (g³ównie nie-Europejskich)
	korporacji i Irlandii oraz na szkodê ma³ych i ¶redniej wielko¶ci firm
	(które stanowi± wiêkszo¶æ Europejskiego przemys³u oprogramowania)
	i folnego oprogramowania.

<p>
	Je¶li Parlament Europejski nie zdobêdzie absolutnej wiêkszo¶ci (367)
	wszystkich cz³onków Parlamentu - nie tylko bezwzglêdnej wiêkszo¶ci
	wszystkich uczestników obrad - koniecznej do wprowadzenia znacz±cych
	poprawkek w lipcu, to dyrektywa Rady stanie siê prawem i rozpocznie siê
	sezon polowania na patenty w stylu USA.
	Taka wiêkszo¶æ jest trudna do osi±gniêcia w parlamecie z nisk± frekwencj±.

	i ponownie ustaliæ w³adzê parlamentu UE, jedynej demokratycznie wybieranej
	instytucji UE.
