Rest assured that I don't plan to commit to the news archive anymore.
Well, never say never..

It's a known shortcoming of CVS that you can only match directories
and not single files from CVSROOT/loginfo.  Since the translations of
the help file and the homepage reside in the same directory there is
no (easy or known to me) way to avoid commit messages getting handled
the same way.  Putting translations in subdirectories involves moving
files around, another shortcoming of CVS...
