Oops! You are right. It should be:

  if (!mpctx->playtree_iter && !use_gui)
      filename = NULL;

Which one? The #ifndef or the correct one?

The patch enables gmplayer with a -playlist to get the per file configs
(after I've fixed a few things in the GUI).
