my apologies for the inaccuracies. thank you for clearing it up.

i had made it in a rush to try to post to ffmpeg-devel before it was
shutdown, but obviously missed the deadline. there were other details
that might be relevent, such as mans removing your mailing list
administration access. but i didnt want to bog down the timeline with
many many small details.
