i tested this earlier when you said it had problems
YUY2/YV12 displays only black screen for qtsvq1 on windows ;\

of course, on windows i get ghosted colors with qtsvq1 (and looks
worse with ffsvq1, is this sample valid?)

patch rejected since it would break on windows, altho i'm not sure how
to fix this...
