Yes. Because my opinion is the following: of course it's nice
to have automatic decryption of AACS-only protected discs, but as most
releases adopt BD+, it will be useless for BD+ discs.

So, in the "real world", there's no way to escape from software
like AnyDVD HD or DVDFab... I know we are not talking about Windows
software here, but if someone wants to decrypt all blu-rays as
possible *today* on the computer, there's no other way, unless use those
proprietary softwares.

Of course there's dumphd, but it's very bad and can't decrypt
everything.

So, at least for me, it is much more interesting to have a
support for decrypted blu-ray like we have for dvdnav than to waste
time decrypting just a few AACS-only discs.

In fact what I'd appreciate most is the PGS (subtitle) support
and, maybe in the future, menus, playlist handling etc. This would be
very nice, since most people who care about blu-ray on computer must
buy AnyDVD HD to do the decryption first. Otherwise, it would be easier
to just watch on a regular player...

So my humble opinion: it's more important to support
already decrypted blu-rays first (with menus, playlist, extras etc) than
to invest a long time on decrypting just a few discs and providing just
the main movie. I mean, I prefer to have a MPlayer that can play a
decrypted blu-ray structure than a MPlayer that plays only the main
movie of a encrypted blu-ray.

Ps: of course the ideal would be to have a complete player, but
it will extremely difficult for MPlayer developers to make MPlayer
fully decrypt all blu-ray discs out there (AnyDVD HD releases many
updates every week so they have a huge database of keys and discs that
need individual support), so I think it isn't worth the work and time
dedicated to the decryption (although it's nice too anyway).

Ps2: someone can ask: "so how the user will decrypt the disc?".
Well, as I said before: those who want to play all kinds of blu-ray
discs on the computer *MUST* buy AnyDVD HD. That's the only way to make
sure you can decrypt every disc on Earth. There's no other software
which can do what AnyDVD HD can do regarding the decryption of AACS/BD+
discs (even DVDFab is trying but it's far behind AnyDVD HD).

Ps3: this is not marketing for AnyDVD HD ok? It's just the
reality. I'm not saying it's impossible for MPlayer to support all
blu-ray discs out there, but it would be a *LOT* of work and in the end
I don't know if MPlayer developers are willing to dedicate so much
discovering how to decrypt every blu-ray disc out there.

Ps4: so at least for me that already bought AnyDVD HD and run
it through Virtualbox, it's much better to have PGS, menu, playlist,
extras support than to have MPlayer playing just the main movie (this I
do today with the help of mpls_dump and tsMuxer for joining
fragmented -- on those discs that split the main movie through many
m2ts files).

Ps5: and if MPlayer could play blu-ray disc structure it would
be the first free player that can do that. Most of others just play
m2ts files like Xine, VLC etc, but no one has support for menu
structure, playlist, extra structure which is what the user really
wants in the end.
