Strangely, i cannot reproduce with all MPEG TS streams i have which have broken AC3 frames, with -msglevel all=0:cplayer=4:global=4:identify=4 which i use for playback, i do not see ac3 errors but according to the log, with the same log settings there were a lot of them. This could be another case, i do not have access to that box yet, it is on other coast but as soon as i can reproduce i will post the file.
Anyway, it seems to be a good thing to unify AV logging and remove duplication and inconsistencies with avcodec.
