Thanks for reporting this.

So it probably is a wise decision to get rid of OS/X 10.5 exclusivity  
as that makes it impossible
to even develop except when you pay big bucks for the latest OS/X  
from Apple.

And after all this is free software, it's purpose is not to give  
functionality exclusively to only the latest os/x version
(which would be like supporting windows vista servicepack4 only and  
not servicepack3 and before, as os/x 10.4 was
there in 2008 and before. 10.5 came somewhere in 2008).
