mov/mp4 files are supposed to be prepared for streaming (e.g. with
ffmpeg's qt-faststart).
While it is in principle possible to play it anyway, it will have a big
startup delay and it needs good support for seeking over http, which
MPlayer has not (yet).

Congratulations, you too managed to snip the most useful part, namely
that saying
[mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0xbf51a0]Could not find codec parameters (Video: h264, 320x240 [PAR 0:1 DAR 0:1])
