  --enable-largefiles \

it's enabled by default on linux

  --enable-linux-devfs \

why? slackware doesnt use devfs (fortunately)

  --disable-mga \
  --disable-xmga \

why? slack even has the /dev/mga_vid device by default.

* ffmpeg
* lame
* id3lib
* faad2
* faac
* liba52
* libdvdcss
* mplayer-codecs

also note, that ffmpeg is not a dependency, it's included in mplayer (releases)
or should be copied into the source tree (cvs).

liba52 for what? it's also included. same for libdvdcss and faad2.
