Hello,

I have read that you have problem that in gimp window with right colorkey
you can see the video but in mplayer created not.

I trided  to examine window stat with xwininfo
 utility and most interresting difference I see is:

 Colormap: 0x20 (installed)  gimp or gqview with BMP windoww :)
Colormap: 0xe00001 (installed)  - mplayer window


Unfortunately I'm not X expert so I cant help you any further/

I have riva ZX 128
01:00.0 Class 0300: 12d2:0018 (rev 22)

And it is working :)
