Actually I do sometimes read cvslog of DOCS/ ...

I just tried to say that docs benefitted from reformatting, which means that
it may make sense in a special case.  I did not mean to imply anything for
the general case.  Others will have to decide that.

Of course.  As I said above and in another mail, I did not try to vote on
the issue even though I may have created the impression.
