[MPlayer-dev-eng] Index creation while running

Quick question:
I know Arpi mentioned something about implementing this. Is anyone working on 
this, or is there a way to have mencoder generate one as it encodes (and have 
mplayer able to use it while playing the file mencoder is currently working 
on)?

People working on Freevo is looking at implementing a ringbuffer for "live 
tv" pause etc, but if there were an index it could just be passed to 
mplayer/mencoder.
