It shouldn't break anything assuming

1) You could compile/get to work mplayer on Darwin/x86
    before the patch
2) You don't try to enable AltiVec on x8 :-)

The only change is to define CONFIG_DARWIN if *both*
SYS_DARWIN and HAVE_ALTIVEC are defined.

If you do manage to compile mplayer on Darwin/x86,
please let us know :-)
