IIRC Anders is in the middle of porting old aop junk to the new libaf
layer. Hopefully this will still be able to continue with the freeze.
I'd like to see the old aop stuff removed in 0.90 if possible and
working interactive volume control with libaf (maybe even volume
adjustment in units of dB rather than arbitrary numbers/bar?! :).
