^^^ this is compiling xvid. i did teh same.

but mplayer needs the above changes to use xvid instead of divxencore/decore

i see. at least the decoder is far from being completed...
but we really need only the encoder, until it's compatible with
libavcodec.

i think we should use only the encoder from xvid.
