Please - if people are fiddling with the aspect handling in mplayer, be
careful and remember that some people have video output modes that are non
square.

For instance - some of us (or me, at least) use output to TV.  My TV is
widescreen, where the 720x576 output mode DOES display as 4:3 ratio, and
when in widescreen, 720x576 displays 16:9.

So make sure that there is a way to take account for non-square output
modes, as per the style of my (anknowledged incomplete) patch some time
ago.
