On the 2 DVDs I have tested your latest patch with, it performs Ok but
subtitles are displayed differently.

What's weird is:
 - in one case they are outline of subtitles drawn in opaque white, the
   movie being transparently displayed in the inside of the letters.
 - in the other they are filled with white

(maybe it's not white but looks like that)

I don't know what happens when background picture is also white...
