Ok. Guess this is my first shipment of cola :-) It had to happen someday.
Anyway, I wasn't aware of af_msg. Should have looked better at the other 
filters I suppose.

While browsing through my IRC log (I have been afk for a while because of 
illness) I saw you also mentioned the MSGTR should be removed. I tend to 
disagree. libvo and libao also have lots of translatable messages and thus 
are not completely standalone anymore. But, if you really insist, I don't 
mind changing them all back to hardcoded English messages.
