Joey, please try the TITLE* samples in my home dir: http://mplayerhq.hu/~diego/ Current CVS does not display any subtitles, 0.90 does, see http://bugzilla.mplayerhq.hu/show_bug.cgi?id=82 I think it was your commit that broke it and apparently it's still not fixed.
