Went back and tried again, and I think it was just me being naive about
ftp; a closer look at the error messages diagnosed the problem.

Uploading now, ETA 10 minutes; the filename is the same as in the bug
report mailed, appearlaser_debug-mplayer.mpeg.

It will follow immediately after the MPEG; to be safe, I'll include my
system information (such as it is), though that was not in the E-mail as
originally sent.
