[Mplayer-advusers] Problem with constant quantizer encoding

Hi!

Mplayer manpage says (at option vi_qoffset):

"Tip: To do constant quantizer encoding with different quantizers
for I/P and B frames you can use: vqmin=<ip_quant>:vqmax=
<ip_quant>:vb_qfactor=<b_quant/ip_quant>"

This worked fine up to 1.0pre2. In 1.0pre3 all frames (including
b-frames) are encoded with quantizer=<ip_quant>.

Maybe it has to do with the new lagrange multipliers? Is there
still a possibility to encode b-frames with higher quantizer than i-
and p-frames?
