you misunderstood me slightly :) i'm using the -fs switch, but the subtitles
are rendered inside the movie. -vop expand expands the movie with black bands,
and the subtitles are rendered there. i want both features, but -vop expand
cannot scale the movie to the video mode aspect ratio automatically (as arpi
explained), so i'm stuck with calculating the desired height myself every time
i play a movie :(
