[MEncoder-users] AC3 dump reports wrong length for audio....bug?

Hi

If I do a -of rawaudio for an AC3 stream with a -ss xxxx and a -endpos
yyyy and the original file (it's a .ts stream file) is over a certain
time length then the corresponding AC3 dump instead of reporting the
endpos length (which surely should be the correct behaviour) instead
reports the 'actual end of stream time' less the '-ss time' as the
stream timelength.

This becomes a problem when then trying to mux them using something
link mkvmerge as the two streams have different time lengths and
therefore the output stream cannot be searched properly (also the
output stream reports the audio stream length rather then the video
stream length.

Any ideas or pointers gratefully received.
