Hi,

I am running this command to convert an mpeg file:

mencoder -oac copy -ovc lavc -of mpeg -mpegopts format=dvd:tsaf -vf scale=720:576,harddup -srate 48000 -af lavcresample=48000 -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg2video:vrc_buf_size=1835:vrc_maxrate=9800:vbitrate=2400:keyint=15:vstrict=0:acodec=ac3:abitrate=192:aspect=16/9 -ofps 25 -ss 05:12 -endpos 01:28:30 -o out2.mpg out.mpg


The output I get is listed at the end with all details.

Question 1:
The message "The selected video_out device is incompatible with this codec." Any idea what the problem might be here?

Question 2:
This message "Try appending the scale filter to your filter list,
e.g. -vf spp,scale instead of -vf spp.
VDecoder init failed :("

I have scale in my video filter, any idea what is wrong here?

Question 3:
What does "Unsupported PixelFormat -1" mean?
