[MEncoder-users] Progress

Hello, I'm writing a pyGTK program to encode some video files and I was
wondering if it was possible to tell from the stdout of mplayer how much
of the file had been dumped so far using -dumpstream.  Either an ETA,
percentage or fraction of the total stream dumped so far quite useful.
I don't seem to be able to find out how to do it myself.
